About the role#
This 12-week summer internship offers exposure to the debt asset management team at SitusAMC. You will work alongside experienced professionals to oversee a portfolio of commercial real estate loans. The program runs from June 1 to August 14, 2027, and includes both a team project and a final capstone presentation.
What you'll do#
- Analyze loan documents, investment committee memoranda, and deal structures.
- Prepare and present credit recommendations for actions like loan extensions, draw funding, and lease approvals.
- Gather market data and financial statements while maintaining rent rolls.
- Build asset-level reports in Excel, including cash flow, variance, and budget analysis.
- Perform LTV, DY, and DSCR calculations.
- Review draw requests for construction, capital expenditures, and tenant improvements.
- Monitor portfolio updates, including loan modifications, collateral reviews, and pipeline events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program for finance, real estate, or a related field.
- A clear interest in commercial real estate.
- Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and business writing skills, especially when working under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and within diverse teams.
