About the role#
This 12-week summer internship offers exposure to the debt asset management team at SitusAMC. You will work alongside experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience in commercial real estate finance. The program runs from May 31 to August 20, 2027. You will participate in a team project and a capstone project during your time with us.
What you'll do#
- Analyze loan documents, investment committee memoranda, deal structures, and servicing requirements.
- Prepare and present credit recommendations for actions requiring lender approval, such as loan extensions, draw funding, and lease approvals.
- Collect market data, manage financial statements, and maintain rent rolls.
- Prepare asset-level reports in Excel, including cash flow, variance, and budget analysis.
- Perform LTV, DY, and DSCR calculations.
- Review draw requests for construction and capital expenditures.
- Monitor portfolio updates, including modifications, collateral reviews, and pipeline events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in finance, real estate, or a related field.
- A clear interest in commercial real estate.
- Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A commitment to professional integrity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Location & details#
- Location: Dallas, Texas.
- Modality: Hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in the office.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship at $25.00 per hour.
