About the role#
This is a full-time, on-site internship based in West Des Moines, Iowa, for the Winter 2027 term. Interns will support commercial real estate professionals on the appraisal and consulting or valuation management teams. You will work on national assignments for large financial institutions, pension funds, and insurance companies.
What you'll do#
- Perform valuations and appraisal reviews.
- Research property and market information.
- Analyze subject and comparable data.
- Develop appraisal and consulting reports.
- Manage workflow processes to ensure on-time delivery of projects.
- Coordinate with market participants, clients, and team members.
- Review third-party appraisal reports.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program, preferably in Real Estate, Accounting, or Finance.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to solve problems and meet deadlines.
