About the role#
This 12-week internship provides hands-on experience within our debt asset management team. You will work alongside experienced professionals to oversee a portfolio of commercial real estate loans covering various property types and deal structures. The program runs from May 31 to August 20, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Analyze loan documents and investment committee memoranda to understand deal economics and servicing requirements.
- Assist in preparing credit recommendations for lender approvals, such as loan extensions, draw funding, and lease approvals.
- Gather market data, maintain rent rolls, and update financial statements.
- Prepare asset level reports in Excel, including cash flow and variance analysis.
- Build and perform LTV, DY, and DSCR analyses.
- Review draw requests for construction, capital expenditures, and tenant improvements.
- Monitor portfolio updates, including modifications, collateral reviews, and pipeline events.
- Participate in a team project and a final capstone project.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program focused on finance, real estate, or a related field.
- A clear interest in commercial real estate.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage time effectively and organize complex tasks.
- Strong communication and business writing skills.
- Commitment to professional integrity and attention to detail.

- Location: Atlanta, Georgia.
- Modality: Hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in the office.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Compensation: This is a paid, full-time position with an hourly rate of $25.00.
