About the role#
The Marketing Events Co-Op joins the North America Events team to support the planning, production, and reporting of external events. You will work closely with the Director of Events, senior managers, and various stakeholders to execute programs ranging from flagship conferences to roundtables. This is a full-time position for the Winter 2027 term, running from January 2027 through June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the full lifecycle of events including pre-event logistics, onsite management, and post-event follow-up.
- Research and manage sponsorship opportunities for external conferences.
- Coordinate event production tasks such as arranging food and beverage, ordering supplies, managing audiovisual equipment, and organizing room layouts.
- Handle administrative details including travel arrangements, hotel room blocks, registration lists, nametags, and marketing materials.
- Drive event awareness by managing social media image creation and sending email invitations.
- Serve as the primary liaison between vendors and internal staff.
- Track financial information, monitor ROI, and standardize feedback forms to suggest improvements for future events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Undergraduate or Masters co-op program.
- Ability to work full-time from January 2027 to June 2027.
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization (sponsorship is not provided).
- Strong organizational and project management skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in a Windows environment, specifically Outlook, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus.
- Ability to travel during peak event seasons.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
