About the role#
As an intern at Simmons Foods, you will work on projects that impact the organization. This program focuses on professional development and building relationships across departments. You will receive personalized training and gain experience by solving real problems within your assigned facility or department.
What you'll do#
- Work on projects that impact the organization.
- Participate in a continuous improvement culture to refine processes and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure best practices and attend team meetings.
- Familiarize yourself with Simmons operating systems, including quality, security, and office policies.
- Perform other duties as needed to support business objectives.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of business and management principles.
- Ability to use computers and computer programs.
- Experience in manufacturing or poultry is preferred.
- Willingness to lead and offer direction.

- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
- Physical requirements: Ability to work on your feet for multiple hours, work in various temperatures, and lift at least 10 pounds.
