About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students within a community retail setting. You will work in a locally owned store while gaining exposure to the daily operations of a professional pharmacy. This role is designed to supplement your academic studies with real world training.
What you'll do#
- Greet customers who approach the pharmacy and ensure they are assisted.
- Maintain strict customer confidentiality and manage consent requirements.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Learn about the expanding responsibilities of community pharmacists.
- Develop your communication skills with patients, staff, and other health care workers.
- Build your knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Gain the skills needed to manage a retail pharmacy environment.

- Current enrollment in a pharmacy program.

- Employment Type: Part-time with flexible shifts.
- Compensation: $23.20 to $30.25 per hour.
