About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students within a community retail setting. You will work under a local Associate-Owner while gaining exposure to the daily operations of a pharmacy. This role is designed to bridge the gap between academic studies and real-world practice.
What you'll do#
- Greet and acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer confidentiality, consent, and privacy requirements.
- Maintain a professional presence and remain clearly identifiable to the public.
- Learn about the evolving roles of community pharmacists.
- Develop patient counseling skills and knowledge of OTC products, drug therapy, and disease state management.
- Improve communication with patients, co-workers, and other health care professionals.
- Gain experience in the skills required to manage a retail pharmacy.

- Current enrollment as a pharmacy student.

- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Part-time with flexible shifts.
- Pay: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour.
