About the role#
This is a part-time Pharmacy Intern position at a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart in Calgary. You will gain practical experience in a community pharmacy setting, learning how to manage retail pharmacy operations while supporting patient health and wellness. This role is paid and offers a wage range of $23.20 to $30.25 per hour, depending on your experience and knowledge.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage retail pharmacy operations.
- Engage in patient counseling and provide information on over-the-counter products.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and ensure all privacy requirements and consent management protocols are met.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Develop skills in drug therapy and disease state management.
What you'll need#
- You must currently be pursuing a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
