About the role#
Sezzle is looking for a Product Data Intern to join our team. This role offers the chance to gain hands-on experience while working alongside product team leaders to define key metrics and performance objectives. You will support data initiatives across multiple departments by writing SQL queries, contributing Python code, and building dashboards to assist with decision-making.
What you'll do#
- Support business teams by identifying their data needs and analytics priorities.
- Create analyses and reports to provide insights for growth strategies.
- Help stakeholders find new opportunities through data analysis.
- Monitor and review existing reports and dashboards.
- Visualize and present analytics results to ensure they are easy for others to understand and act on.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to statistics, mathematics, data science, computer science, business, or economics.
- Solid understanding of SQL for extracting data and creating actionable datasets.
- Familiarity with Python for data processing and analytics.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Redash, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
- Experience working with complex dataset creation, reporting, profiling, or machine learning.
- An eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, remote internship position based in Colombia.
- The role is offered on a rolling basis.
- Compensation is 2,800,000 COP per month.
