About the role#
SCO Family of Services supports youth in the Learn to Work program by providing a safe learning environment to build skills and explore career paths. This program connects students with local businesses to create job opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Help youth build skills and gain exposure to career paths.
- Lead job-readiness workshops covering work behavior, interviewing skills, money management, and resume creation.
- Assess the skills and interests of students to identify potential work areas.
What you'll need#
- Must be between the ages of 15 and 21.
- Must attend an eligible high school.
- Ability to work a maximum of 15 hours per week.
- Preferred majors include Psychology, Sociology, or Human Resources.
