About the role#
Saskatoon Co-operative Association Ltd. is hiring a Student/Casual Service Centre Clerk for our Coronach location. This role involves direct customer service, fuel dispensing, and maintaining the daily operations of the service centre.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service and share product knowledge.
- Dispense gasoline, diesel fuel, and propane.
- Operate the point of sale terminal.
- Handle interior and exterior housekeeping duties.
- Assist with ordering, receiving, and displaying products.
- Perform opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain store price files and keep the front end clean and well-merchandised.
- Clean and maintain machines like coffee and slush dispensers.
- Assist with daily environmental checks.
- Ensure loss prevention and operate equipment safely.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
What you'll need#
- A pleasant and outgoing personality with a desire to work with the public.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts.
- Ability to work outdoors and perform heavy lifting.
- Successful completion of pre-employment testing as per the company's Alcohol and Substance Policy.
