About the role#
Discovery Co-operative is hiring a Part-Time Student Gas Bar Attendant I for the Battleford Square Gas Bar. This role is for students who want to gain experience in customer service while balancing their high school studies.
What you'll do#
- Provide pump island assistance to guests.
- Handle cashiering duties and manage daily cash-ups.
- Open and close the gas bar station.
- Assist with ordering and receiving inventory for the confectionary and cigarette stock.
- Perform daily reconciliations to maintain inventory standards.
- Help guests with information and general assistance.
- Take on other duties as assigned by the Gas Bar Manager.
What you'll need#
- You must be under 18 years old and currently attending high school.
- If you are 14 or 15, you must have completed the Young Worker Readiness Certificate.
- You must be available to work evenings and weekends.
- Previous retail experience is helpful, though not required.
- You are honest, trustworthy, and focused on getting results.
- You enjoy building relationships and working with others to solve problems.
