About the role#
CSAP is hiring a Student Supervisor for Avon View High School. This is a term position for 5.50 hours per day, ending on June 30, 2027. The role involves general supervision of students in both indoor and outdoor settings.
What you'll do#
- Supervise students before and after school, as well as during lunch and recess breaks.
- Learn and follow specific medical or behavioral programs for individual students.
- Report any discipline issues or problems to the principal or their designate.
- Handle other site-specific duties within the scope of the role.
What you'll need#
- Experience working with children or adolescents.
- Current CPR and First Aid training.
- Ability to build positive rapport with students.
- Good judgment and the ability to take initiative.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.

- Location: Windsor, Nova Scotia.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $21.21 per hour.
- Employment terms follow the NSGEU Local 73 Collective Agreement.
