About the role#
The Conseil scolaire acadien provincial (CSAP) is seeking a teacher for a full-time, term position at École secondaire de Clare. The successful candidate will instruct students in Literacy 7, Skilled Trades 10 or Food and Nutrition 12, and Cooperative Education 11-12. This role focuses on creating an inclusive learning environment that supports student achievement while promoting Acadian and Francophone language and culture.

- Prepare and deliver lessons aligned with established curriculum learning outcomes.
- Implement inclusive and varied pedagogical approaches to support student success.
- Utilize assessment strategies to track and measure student progress.
- Integrate technology into classroom instruction.
- Participate actively in school life and staff meetings.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to meet the evolving needs of students.
What you'll need#
- A valid Nova Scotia teaching license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Relevant training and experience in the subject areas taught.
- Fluency in French, both oral and written.
Location & details#
- Location: École secondaire de Clare, Clare, Nova Scotia.
- Term: August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027.
- Salary: $63,664 to $113,619 annually, as prescribed by the provincial collective agreement.
- Note: Successful candidates must provide a criminal record check (vulnerable sector) and a child abuse registry certificate prior to employment.
