About the role#
Saskatoon Co-operative Association Ltd. is hiring a full-time Assistant Gas Bar Manager for the Westview Gas Bar location. You will report to the Gas Bar Manager and assist in the daily operations of the facility, including supervision of team members and administrative tasks.
What you'll do#
- Supervise and train team members under the direction of the manager.
- Manage merchandise by ordering, receiving, pricing, and displaying items.
- Operate the StorePoint point-of-sale system, including back-office functions.
- Perform opening and closing procedures, daily reconciliations, and reporting.
- Ensure the location remains clean, orderly, and well-maintained.
- Provide customer service and assist on the pump island when needed.
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
- Assist with location marketing requirements and other assigned administrative duties.
- Maintain a professional attitude and show up for all scheduled shifts.
What you'll need#
- Three to five years of supervisory experience in a retail setting or equivalent.
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
- Customer service orientation.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Availability to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
- A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
