About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students within a local community pharmacy. You will work under an Associate-Owner, gaining real-world training that complements your academic studies. The role focuses on preparing you for a successful career in a community setting.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer confidentiality and consent to ensure all privacy requirements are met.
- Maintain high visibility to the public while on duty.
- Learn about the expanding responsibilities of a community pharmacist.
- Improve your communication skills with patients, staff, and other health care professionals.
- Build your knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Develop the skills needed to manage a retail pharmacy.

- Current enrollment as a pharmacy student.
- A desire to provide an exceptional experience for every customer.

- Location: Sechelt, British Columbia.

- Employment type: Part-time, rolling term.
- Compensation: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour.
