About the role#
This position is for a college student to join the production sanitation team in Kiel, Wisconsin. You will work 16 to 24 hours per week, primarily on the second shift from 2pm to 10pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with every other Saturday as needed. This is an on-site role that requires previous Sargento production experience.
What you'll do#
- Work safely with your team to produce high-quality products.
- Read production orders to verify information.
- Assist with setting up and placing production equipment.
- Use cleaning chemicals to sanitize equipment and production areas when necessary.
- Monitor the food production process to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Perform data entry for inventory systems and labeling software.
- Communicate effectively with your team.
What you'll need#
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Currently enrolled in a college, university, or technical college.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Willingness to complete fork lift certification upon hire.
- Ability to learn and carry out lock out tag out procedures.
- Ability to work in a cold, loud environment with moving machinery and robotics.
- Comfort working in wet, humid, or damp conditions during sanitation tasks.

- Location: Kiel, Wisconsin.
- Schedule: 16-24 hours per week.
- Shift: 2nd shift (2pm-10pm), Tuesday and Thursday, with every other Saturday as needed.
- Majors considered: Biology, Chemistry, Nursing, Environmental Engineering, Agriculture, Human Resources, Business Administration, and Operations Management.
