About the role#
Saratech is hiring a Recruiting Intern to support our engineering services team. This role focuses on assisting with the hiring process for contract engineering positions across our divisions and client accounts. You will gain hands-on experience in candidate engagement and talent acquisition while working remotely.
What you'll do#
- Help identify potential candidates by reviewing resumes and applications.
- Use recruiting platforms to source new talent.
- Conduct initial candidate outreach and basic screening.
- Submit qualified candidates to your supervisor for review.
- Post and maintain job descriptions on various platforms.
- Keep candidate information and notes updated in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Coordinate interview schedules and shadow intake calls with hiring managers.
- Manage multiple recruiting tasks while maintaining clear communication with the team and candidates.
What you'll need#
- Previous experience in recruiting, administration, customer service, or office work.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a focus on follow-through.
- Comfort learning new software and tools, including an ATS.
- An interest in recruiting and working with people.
- A collaborative and self-motivated approach to your work.
- Experience with engineering or technical recruiting is helpful but not required.
Location & details#
- This position is fully remote.
- This is a part-time, paid internship.
- Compensation is $20 to $22 per hour.
- Employees receive 40 hours of sick time per year.
