About the role#
Saratech is hiring an Application Engineering Co-op to join our team in Mason, Ohio. This is a full-time, paid position focused on product lifecycle management and Siemens software solutions. You will work with clients across industries like aerospace, defense, and automotive to help them design and manufacture complex products.
What you'll do#
- Complete initial online and in-class training programs.
- Provide technical expertise and support for engineering software including CAD, CAM, CAE, and PLM tools.
- Perform pre-sales and post-sales support, including software demonstrations for clients.
- Implement, configure, and customize CAD software to meet specific business needs.
- Analyze client processes to identify improvements and integrate new solutions.
- Create user training materials and lead training sessions.
- Build a foundational knowledge of design and manufacturing standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute feedback to future software releases.
- Stay current on industry trends and contribute to the improvement of our service offerings.
What you'll need#
- Pursuit of a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A strong interest in product lifecycle management and Siemens software.
- Understanding of engineering processes and product development cycles.
- Experience or interest in learning CAD, CAM, CAE, PLM, and programming or scripting languages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- US citizenship is required for ITAR-related work.
- Project management experience is considered a plus.
