About the role#
As a Process Risk and Controls Consulting Intern, you will work with businesses across various industries. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting risk assessment services, including internal audits, SOX compliance, and financial reporting control projects. This role involves direct interaction with client management teams to help them identify and mitigate operational risks.
What you'll do#
- Attend client meetings and support the execution of consulting projects.
- Prepare and deliver reports on consulting services, including discussing results and recommendations with clients.
- Document findings and analysis using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Complete projects according to established timelines.
- Travel to client locations as needed to provide services.
- Participate in conferences and training sessions to support your professional development.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 90 credit hours toward a B.A. or B.S. degree.
- Major in Accounting, Finance, or Data and Analytics.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Strong multi-tasking, project management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- High degree of integrity and professionalism.
- Access to reliable transportation for travel to client sites.
- CPA certification or progress toward certification is preferred.
