About the role#
Royal Electric Company is seeking a Human Resources Intern for our Sacramento office. This role starts in Fall 2026 and offers hands-on experience within our HR department. You will support team initiatives and gain practical insight into human resources operations in the construction industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist with HR projects and department initiatives.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other HR materials.
- Organize, maintain, and audit HR files, records, and documentation.
- Conduct research and compile information for HR programs.
- Support training coordination, recordkeeping, and ETP-related documentation.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage confidential information.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Prior administrative or office support experience is preferred.
- Experience with Canva, data, reporting, or document management is preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and comply with all safety standards, including wearing proper PPE when on jobsites.

- Compensation: $22-$27 per hour.
