About the role#
As a Diesel Technician Intern, you will assist in keeping our fleet running safely and efficiently. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role based in Clarence, Iowa. You will gain hands-on experience in a shop environment while learning the technical skills required to maintain heavy equipment.
What you'll do#
- Perform basic service and maintenance procedures on the fleet.
- Learn to inspect and repair brake systems.
- Use computer diagnostic equipment to identify issues.
- Operate welding and fabrication tools.
- Service A/C units and hydraulic systems.
- Work on driveline systems, electrical components, and engines.
- Attend training courses to build your technical knowledge.
- Track and invoice your repair time for each unit.
- Keep work sites safe and compliant with state and federal regulations.
What you'll need#
- A willingness to learn maintenance and repair procedures.
- The ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
- A commitment to attending training courses as required.

- Compensation: $20.00 per hour.
