About the role#
As a Market Intelligence & Business Analytics Intern, you will work with commercial and sales leaders to uncover insights that drive growth in North American steel and industrial markets. You will gain hands-on experience at the intersection of analytics, business strategy, and artificial intelligence while contributing to projects that impact real-world commercial decision-making.
What you'll do#
- Support market research projects focused on steel, manufacturing, and broader industrial market trends.
- Analyze internal and external data to identify business opportunities, competitive insights, and emerging market developments.
- Create dashboards, reports, and market intelligence summaries using Excel and Power BI.
- Partner with sales teams to organize customer feedback into meaningful insights.
- Participate in strategic projects and market deep dives to support growth initiatives.
- Explore AI-enabled tools and analytics solutions to improve how intelligence is gathered.
- Maintain data quality and accuracy across reporting platforms.
- Gain exposure to customer operations and executive decision-making processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Marketing, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or SQL is a plus.
- Interest in market intelligence, business strategy, sales analytics, or AI.
- Effective communication skills.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn.
- Previous experience with data analysis through internships or coursework is helpful but not required.

- This internship is fully remote within the United States.
- The term is for Summer 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
- Travel opportunities may be available to support customer visits or business meetings.
