About the role#
Republic Finance is seeking a Branch Operations Intern to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry. You will learn the daily functions of a branch, understand our sales and customer service approach, and complete compliance and leadership training. This program is designed to provide exposure to our business operations and career paths within the company.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily production tasks including loan origination, processing, closings, and fundings.
- Allocate files for document preparation, audit closed files, and prepare files for funding.
- Participate in an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program.
- Work on branch operations continuous improvement projects.
- Gain licensure to sell voluntary insurance products.
- Meet with your Manager and the Regional Vice President to discuss career potential and promotional paths.
- Attend regional meetings and workshops to learn about broader company operations and corporate roles.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior in college majoring in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Ability to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A reliable, enthusiastic approach and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to meet eligibility requirements for insurance licensing.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and adherence to company standards for criminal and credit background history.
