About the role#
Republic Finance is seeking interns for our Branch Operations program. This role provides hands-on experience in the daily functions of a branch while introducing you to the broader organization. You will work alongside our team to gain real-world experience, learn our sales and customer service approach, and participate in leadership training. This is a paid, on-site internship.
What you'll do#
- Learn daily branch operations and complete compliance training.
- Participate in an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program.
- Become licensed to sell voluntary insurance products.
- Assist with loan production tasks, including origination, processing, closings, and fundings.
- Allocate files for document preparation, audit closed files, and prepare files for funding.
- Interact with team members and leaders, including spending time with your Manager and Regional Vice President.
- Execute branch operations continuous improvement projects.
- Attend regional meetings or workshops.
- Explore corporate roles that value branch experience, such as audit, compliance, training, and recruiting.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior or Senior in college majoring in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Ability to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A reliable, enthusiastic, and eager approach to learning.
- Ability to meet eligibility requirements for insurance licensing.
- Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background and credit history.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
