About the role#
Repsol is seeking a Project Management Intern to support the planning, execution, and delivery of utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects. This role provides exposure to project controls, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and reporting. You will work within our Renewables Services North America team to help achieve our capacity goals.
What you'll do#
- Support project managers with planning, execution, and monitoring of renewable energy projects.
- Maintain project schedules, budgets, action item logs, and tracking tools.
- Coordinate across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Environmental, and Development teams.
- Gather, validate, and analyze project data to support business decisions.
- Prepare status reports, dashboards, presentations, and executive summaries.
- Track project risks, resolve issues, and support mitigation planning.
- Document meeting notes and follow-up activities.
- Manage project records, contracts, permits, and deliverables.
- Monitor milestones to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Support process improvement initiatives and project close-out activities.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for a work or student visa.
- Strong interest in project management and renewable energy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a cross-functional team.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with high attention to detail.
- Commitment to integrity, safety, ethics, and quality.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based in Downtown Houston, Texas.
- The program runs for 12 weeks, from May 17, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
- The role is on-site, though travel to project sites may be required based on business needs.
