About the role#
The Product Biochemistry team develops and applies analytical and biophysical characterization methods to understand the structure, stability, and function of biologic and oligonucleotide-based medicines. We are looking for co-ops to join our team in Tarrytown, New York, to help characterize our pipeline of therapeutic candidates.
What you'll do#
- Develop and apply analytical methods to characterize therapeutic proteins, antibodies, and oligonucleotide-based biotherapeutics.
- Evaluate biophysical properties like size, charge, and structural stability using light scattering, chromatography, and electrophoretic techniques.
- Assess antibody developability properties, including hydrophobicity, surface charge, and self-association, through high-throughput screening.
- Support structural studies of nucleic acid-based therapeutics using spectroscopic techniques.
- Build automated workflows to improve analytical data processing and reporting.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data using statistical tools to support scientific decisions.
- Document experimental procedures, results, and method performance.
- Collaborate with scientists across analytical development and drug discovery teams.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
- You must be returning to school the semester following the position or graduating after the position.
- Ability to commit to 40 hours per week.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership in campus activities, clubs, sports, or community work is preferred.

- Location: Tarrytown, New York.
- Modality: This is a full-time, on-site position.
- Terms: Available for Winter 2027, Summer 2027, and Fall 2027.
- Compensation: This is a paid position with an hourly rate range of $17.90 to $50.90, depending on your level of education and degree program.
