About the role#
Regeneron is hiring multiple Co-ops for the Data Science and Computational Biology team. You will work within our Research department to apply machine learning and data analysis to early-stage drug discovery projects. These positions are full-time and based on-site in Tarrytown, New York.
What you'll do#
- Build models to predict the impact of genetic variants on proteins.
- Develop computational tools for high-throughput image analysis.
- Harmonize metadata across large public and internal RNA-sequencing datasets.
- Apply machine learning and data analysis techniques to research questions.
- Work with large, complex datasets to identify meaningful patterns.
- Collaborate with researchers to translate data findings into actionable insights.
- Write and test code to support ongoing analyses.
- Present results to the broader research team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or acceptance to an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or Bioinformatics.
- You must be returning to school the semester following the position or graduating after the position ends.
- Ability to commit to 40 hours per week for one of the following terms: January-August, May/June-December, or August-December.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership in campus activities, clubs, sports, or community work is preferred.

- Location: Tarrytown, New York.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Availability: Winter 2027, Summer 2027, and Fall 2027 terms.
- Compensation: Paid position with an hourly rate range of $17.90 to $50.90, determined by education level and degree program.
