About the role#
Regeneron is seeking Co-ops to join the Analytical and Biological Mass Spectrometry, Assay Development, and R&D Chemistry teams. You will work on developing and applying analytical, bioanalytical, and mass spectrometry methods to characterize therapeutic proteins, bioconjugates, and other complex biotherapeutics. This is a full-time, on-site role.
What you'll do#
- Develop and run LC-MS and MSI methods to characterize therapeutic proteins, bioconjugates, and biomarkers.
- Apply mass spectrometry fragmentation techniques including CID and ExD to characterize conjugated payloads.
- Use CE-MS and iCIEF to characterize protein charge variants.
- Build reference databases and spectral libraries.
- Process and interpret mass spectrometry data to validate molecular structures.
- Run high-throughput proteomics workflows using DIA methods and perform database searching with FDR control.
- Develop and evaluate platform immunoassays including ELISA and western blot methods.
- Support the development and purification of antibody-drug conjugates.
- Document experimental procedures and results.
- Present findings to the broader analytical sciences team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or acceptance to an academic program pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
- Ability to return to school the semester following the position or graduate after the position.
- Commitment to 40 hours per week.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership in campus activities, clubs, sports, or community involvement is preferred.

- Locations: Tarrytown, NY and Hawthorne, NY.
- Terms: Winter 2027, Summer 2027, and Fall 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: Paid position with an hourly rate range of $17.90 to $50.90, determined by education level and degree program.
