About the role#
Regeneron is hiring multiple co-ops for the 2027 Oncology and Immuno-Oncology Research team. You will work on-site in Tarrytown, New York, to support research focused on cancer biology and immunotherapy. This is a full-time position with compensation ranging from $17.90 to $50.90 per hour, depending on your education level and degree program.
What you'll do#
- Study how cancer cells interact with the immune system to help inform new treatment approaches.
- Perform molecular biology techniques, including western blotting, real-time PCR, and CRISPR gene editing.
- Conduct mammalian cell culture experiments and support virus production activities.
- Use histological methods such as immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and flow cytometry.
- Assist in the engineering, expression, and screening of antibody and bispecific antibody candidates for cancer immunotherapy programs.
- Document your experimental procedures and results.
- Collaborate with researchers across the oncology discovery team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- You must be returning to school the semester after the position ends or graduating after the term concludes.
- Availability to commit to 40 hours per week for one of the following terms: January-August, May/June-December, or August-December.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership in campus activities, clubs, sports, or community work is preferred.
