About the role#
This summer internship offers hands-on experience in corporate Environmental Health and Safety. You will work with EHS professionals and business leaders to support safety initiatives and minimize environmental impact from operations. This position is a full-time, paid role based at our Milwaukee headquarters.
What you'll do#
- Collect, analyze, audit, and report data to identify trends and risks.
- Help develop, revise, and maintain EHS training materials.
- Provide SharePoint administration, including document management and content updates.
- Collaborate with the team to review and maintain corporate policies and compliance documentation.
- Support the VelocityEHS information management system through configuration, data validation, and user support.
- Build and maintain VelocityEHS dashboards and analytics.
- Assist with end-user training and troubleshooting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program in Environmental Health and Safety, Sustainability, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between Fall 2027 and Spring 2030.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and manage multiple priorities.
- Intellectual curiosity and a professional approach to your work.
Location & details#
- Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- Term: June 2, 2027, to August 13, 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid. You will work onsite at least 3 days per week, with the option to work remotely up to 2 days per week.
- Eligibility: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
