About the role#
Launch your HR career with Realityworks. As a Human Resources Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee communications, and daily operations. You will work alongside experienced professionals to contribute to projects that shape the candidate and employee experience. This role runs from October 2026 through May 2027 with a commitment of 10-15 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Support recruitment by posting jobs, sourcing candidates, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial screenings.
- Manage onboarding tasks such as pre-employment processes, orientation preparation, and new hire communications.
- Assist with internal communications by drafting newsletters, flyers, intranet updates, and employee announcements.
- Provide administrative support through data entry, maintaining employee records, and assisting with routine reporting.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships and provide professional customer service.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and comfort using AI or HR technologies.
- Prior experience in an office, recruiting, or communications role is helpful.
- Basic knowledge of HR principles and employment laws is preferred.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
- The role is hybrid, splitting time between a home office and the corporate office.
- The schedule is flexible between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
