About the role#
This internship focuses on client-facing sales and problem-solving. You will help clients with their everyday banking, credit, and investment needs. As an ambassador for the bank, you will add value during client interactions and work with partners to help clients reach their financial goals.
What you'll do#
- Engage with clients in the branch and community to uncover their banking needs.
- Identify new sales and referral opportunities.
- Educate clients on banking services and demonstrate how to use digital tools.
- Handle client inquiries and assist with a variety of financial transactions.
- Take ownership of resolving and preventing banking problems for clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal partners to support business goals.
What you'll need#
- Mutual Funds accreditation is mandatory (such as Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course).
- Strong problem-solving and people skills.
- Ability to build relationships and connect with clients.
- Digital literacy across multiple devices like smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
- Flexibility, a desire to learn, and a focus on personal ethics.
- Students or graduates in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting are encouraged to apply.
