About the role#
As a Client Advisor Intern at RBC, you will serve as a branch ambassador responsible for putting clients first and finding solutions to their individual needs. This role focuses on championing the RBC brand, supporting new client acquisition, and deepening existing relationships. You will gain exposure to financial services while preparing for potential future roles as an Account Manager or Banking Advisor.
What you'll do#
- Engage with clients in the branch to deliver an outstanding service experience through transactions and advice.
- Identify opportunities to offer solutions, enable digital tools, and introduce clients to RBC partners.
- Use technology to educate clients and provide a memorable service experience.
- Resolve client banking problems proactively and take ownership of issues.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to work as a unified team.
- Manage risks by adhering to compliance routines, processes, and controls.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a program related to Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- A goal-oriented mindset with a demonstrated passion for prioritizing client needs.
- Excellent communication skills and self-motivation.
- Digital literacy across a broad range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
- Confidence in your ability to learn financial concepts.
- Personal flexibility to work varying hours.
