About the role#
As a Client Advisor Intern, you will act as an RBC ambassador within the branch. You will focus on putting clients first, identifying individual needs, and supporting client acquisition. This role is designed for individuals interested in building a career path toward positions like Account Manager or Banking Advisor.
What you'll do#
- Proactively engage with clients in the branch to deliver an outstanding service experience.
- Focus on education and demonstration by leveraging technology to provide memorable client experiences.
- Contribute to team results by listening to clients and spotting opportunities to offer advice or introduce them to RBC partners.
- Take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking problems.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to work as one team.
- Manage risks by adhering to compliance routines, processes, and controls to protect client and shareholder interests.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or background in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- A goal-oriented mindset with a demonstrated passion for prioritizing client needs.
- Strong drive, self-motivation, excellent communication skills, and emotional intelligence.
- Digital literacy across a broad range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
- Personal flexibility to work varied hours.
- An eagerness to learn, determination to succeed, and the ability to grasp financial concepts.
- Interest in obtaining the Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course.
