About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to develop client-focused sales and problem-solving skills in a banking environment. As a Client Advisor Intern, you will act as an ambassador for the branch, assisting clients with everyday banking needs and collaborating with internal partners to help clients reach their financial goals.
What you'll do#
- Proactively engage with clients in all areas of the branch to uncover banking needs and identify referral opportunities.
- Focus on client education by demonstrating how to use digital banking tools to improve the client experience.
- Assist clients with a full range of financial transactions.
- Take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking problems.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal partners to maximize business opportunities.
What you'll need#
- A demonstrated passion for putting clients first.
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships.
- Digital literacy across a broad range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
- Flexibility and an eagerness to learn.
- Mutual Funds accreditation is considered an asset.
- Enrollment in a relevant program such as Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
