About the role#
As a Systems Engineering Intern, you will work on computational problems involving satellites and space-based systems. You will join a team environment where you will receive guidance from program experts to develop technical solutions. This position involves modeling and simulation work to support our engineering objectives.
What you'll do#
- Analyze computational problems related to space-based systems.
- Apply engineering practices to modeling and simulation tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to determine and develop project solutions.
- Receive and incorporate technical inputs from program experts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS or higher degree program in a STEM discipline.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Active enrollment throughout the duration of the internship.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
- Preferred majors include Aerospace, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, as well as Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science.

- This is an on-site position based in Huntsville, Alabama.
- The role is full-time and paid.
