About the role#
As a Systems Engineering intern, you will contribute to the integration of hardware and software systems. You will support program development, engineering testing, and system deployment throughout the product lifecycle. This role involves working with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure system performance and reliability.
What you'll do#
- Integrate hardware and software components.
- Develop test plans and procedures.
- Debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces.
- Verify system requirements to support final sell-off.
- Exercise systems in lab or field environments.
- Measure and analyze system performance.
- Maintain engineering databases.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced STEM degree program through the end of the internship.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Experience with data analysis using Python, MATLAB, C++, or Microsoft Office.
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues through coursework, research, or previous roles.
- Familiarity with common test equipment such as oscilloscopes or spectrum analyzers.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
