About the role#
Raytheon is hiring for a System Engineering Co-op position focused on RF communications and antenna system design. This is a remote, part-time role for students pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering. Participants will join a team supporting RF Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Systems Integration and Test activities throughout the product development lifecycle. Following the completion of the program, degree requirements, and security clearance, participants will be considered for full-time roles based in Aurora, Colorado.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning and execution of analysis, integration, and verification.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with electronics and support hardware test activities.
- Perform failure data analyses, including root cause and corrective action processes.
- Compile detailed performance evaluations using tools like MATLAB.
- Prepare and present results in reports and briefings for stakeholders.
- Maintain engineering specifications, drawings, and databases.
- Participate in engineering meetings and coordinate technical solutions with teams.
- Support mockup hardware, sustainment, and repair activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Expected graduation date of May 2027 or August 2027.
- Academic or internship experience with hands-on testing of electronic equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting electronics using commercial test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, or signal generators.
- Exposure to data analysis using MATLAB.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Ansys HFSS, or Python for data analysis and automation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Top Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
