About the role#
As a mechanical engineering intern, you will join the Test Facilities Engineering team. You will work under the supervision of a senior engineer on a major overhaul project for a test stand dedicated to hydrogen combustion testing. This role involves collaborating with technicians, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
What you'll do#
- Conduct technical research using online resources and equipment distributors.
- Draft technical documentation.
- Review plans and specifications submitted by consulting engineers and contractors.
- Provide answers to technical questions from contractors.
- Perform site surveys at construction locations, which requires travel between the Longueuil and Mississauga facilities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Canadian university for the full duration of the internship.
- Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check and obtain necessary controlled goods clearances.
- Resourcefulness, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.

- Location: Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
- Modality: On-site, Monday to Friday.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
