About the role#
This is a full-time software developer internship focused on aerospace control systems and web applications. You will work on-site in Mississauga, Ontario, during the Winter 2027 term, from January 5th to April 23rd, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Build and enhance web applications used for software build management and requirements management in aircraft engine control systems.
- Optimize tool performance and design user-friendly graphical interfaces.
- Create detailed help files and user guides for new and updated tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams to brainstorm and implement technical solutions.
- Analyze tool performance to find opportunities for improvement.
- Gain hands-on experience with the DO-178C software development process.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- Eligibility to work in Canada and the ability to work on-site.
- Proficiency with SQL, PHP, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, D3/JQuery, JavaScript, Git, XML, JSON, and APIs.
- A solid understanding of relational databases and web page design.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation.
- Knowledge of graphic design principles is an asset.
- Experience with LaTeX, Python, Visual Basic, C++, or the Symfony PHP framework is helpful.
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

- Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5th to April 23rd, 2027).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site, Monday to Friday.
- Requirements: Candidates must pass a criminal background check and obtain necessary clearances for handling controlled goods.
