About the role#
This is a full-time, on-site Project Engineering Co-Op position based in East Hartford, Connecticut. The role runs from January 2027 through May 2027. You will work Monday through Friday during this period. Please note that U.S. citizenship is required for this position. This is a paid role.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering efforts to meet shop and supplier delivery requirements.
- Partner with operations, quality, procurement, and engineering teams to conduct root cause investigations.
- Develop corrective actions and implement product or process improvements.
- Collaborate with multidiscipline teams to address production improvement opportunities.
- Track group metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate the evaluation and response to electronic Supplier Requests for Information (eSRI).
- Manage the Quality Notification (QN) workflow with outsource teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Advanced degree program in Engineering, continuing through the end of the co-op.
- A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Experience in product design, drawing definition or interpretation, or manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
- Preference is given to students pursuing degrees in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- It is helpful to have experience with hardware, blueprints, manufacturing methods, or prior work experience in the aerospace industry.
- Familiarity with SAP, Teamcenter, Unigraphics, Ansys, or classical methods of analysis is a plus.
