About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to build technical knowledge regarding aircraft turbine engines. You will focus on operational performance, proactive maintenance, and troubleshooting. You will work within a team, collaborating with various departments, maintenance companies, and service centers to analyze data and develop technical solutions.
What you'll do#
- Analyze PT6E-series and PT6A reliability data, including hours and cycles of operation, symptoms, causes of events, and potential solutions.
- Evaluate the financial impact of warranties and determine root causes to develop technical solutions alongside engineering teams.
- Improve and standardize maintenance manuals for PT6E-series and PT6A engines, including troubleshooting documentation.
- Use various software and databases to link parameters and identify proactive trends.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
- Current pursuit of a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Strong communication skills in French, both spoken and written.
- Working knowledge of English to understand technical instructions, plans, and drawings from international sources.
- Proficiency in Python is an asset.

- Location: Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: January 5, 2027, to April 23, 2027.
- Modality: This is an on-site position requiring presence at the Longueuil facility from Monday to Friday.
