About the role#
This co-op position offers the opportunity to work on Head-Up Guidance Systems, Enhanced Vision Systems, and display products. You will support the development of technology for military, air transport, and corporate jet markets. The role focuses on improving flight deck situational awareness and safety.
What you'll do#
- Define requirements for head-up guidance and enhanced vision systems.
- Determine interfaces with other aircraft systems and define display formats and behaviors.
- Conduct LRU system definition and qualification.
- Perform verification and validation of system characteristics.
- Participate in system certification processes with the FAA, EASA, and Transport Canada.
- Manage technical planning, system integration, and functional analysis.
- Perform timeline analysis, trade studies, and requirements allocation.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or advanced degree program in a STEM field.
- Active enrollment status through the completion of the co-op session.
- Knowledge of aircraft or electronic systems.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
- Avionics experience, a Private Pilot License, and familiarity with systems engineering development processes are preferred.
- Knowledge of ARP4754A, DO-178B/C, DO-254, and DO-160G is preferred.

- Location: Wilsonville, Oregon.
- Terms: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
- Modality: This is a full-time, on-site position.
