About the role#
This is a full-time, paid summer internship for the 2027 term. You will work on-site, providing functional support to financial advisors and branch operations. This experience is designed to help you build professional skills and gain insight into the wealth management industry. The program runs from June 2, 2027, to August 13, 2027, with a schedule of up to 40 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with financial advisors, branch operations, and client service teams to support client engagement.
- Conduct investment research, gather and interpret data, and offer recommendations.
- Observe meetings between financial advisors and their clients.
- Work on projects related to portfolio analysis, rebalancing, and investment management.
- Partner with operations to implement efficiency tools and processes.
- Support branch marketing, media strategies, and client events like webinars and networking sessions.
- Conduct portfolio maintenance and reviews.
- Participate in delivering financial planning services.
What you'll need#
- Junior standing with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in business, finance, or a related field.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- A high level of customer service and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
