About the role#
As a Business Development Intern, you will work with the Tektronix Global Business Development Management team to solve business challenges. You will gain hands-on experience in customer segmentation, engagement, and measurement solutions. Throughout the summer, you will explore growing markets including data centers, energy storage, and power electronics. You will also learn how Commercial Sales, Manufacturing, Product Development, and Service collaborate to bring technology to customers.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to high-impact projects while working with a dedicated mentor.
- Engage directly with senior leaders across the organization.
- Structure ambiguous business challenges and develop data-driven recommendations.
- Present project outcomes and recommendations to key stakeholders and executives.
- Build an understanding of business strategy and growth.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using AI tools.
- Ability to translate data and insights into clear recommendations.
- Collaborative approach to problem-solving and team-oriented mindset.
- Comfort seeking clarification and asking thoughtful questions.
- A motivated, driven, and business-minded approach to work.

- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
