About the role#
As an Operations & Manufacturing Co-Op, you will work alongside manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to optimize the systems and workflows that drive production. This six-month position offers hands-on experience in lean principles, operational excellence, and data-driven decision making. You will receive mentorship from professionals, collaborate across functions, and present project findings to leadership.
What you'll do#
- Assist with project management efforts across operations and manufacturing.
- Support process development to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and inform decisions.
- Partner with engineering and supply chain teams on cross-functional projects.
- Help solve day-to-day manufacturing and operational challenges.
- Participate in Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate workflows to find opportunities for greater consistency.
- Share project recommendations with key stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Expected graduation date in 2027 or 2028.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Interest in manufacturing, supply chain, or process improvement.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Supply Chain concepts, or process improvement methodologies is a plus.
