About the role#
This 14-week internship is part of the Questrade Future Leaders Internship Program. You will join our Strategy and Corporate Development team to help determine where the business competes and how it wins. The role involves 12 weeks of project work within the strategy team followed by a 2-week rotation shadowing an executive as a Chief of Staff. You will receive 1:1 mentorship throughout the program.
What you'll do#
- Analyze how new products, services, and cross-business bundles can drive profitable growth.
- Build business models, including market sizing, pricing, and P&L analysis, to support data-driven decisions.
- Benchmark performance against key competitors.
- Partner with product, marketing, finance, and operations teams to present evidence and recommendations to leadership.
- Evaluate potential investments, partnerships, and ancillary revenue streams.
- Update existing processes and procedures using AI tools.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in the 3rd or 4th year of an undergraduate program in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Data Science.
- Experience in financial services or other digital-forward, customer-centric industries.
- Interest or experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, business analysis, or business modeling.
- Ability to use AI tools for productivity and development projects.
- Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, or Python is considered a plus.
