About the role#
As a Workplace Ambassador intern, you will join our team to gain hands-on experience in corporate hospitality. You will participate in a training program that includes rotational assignments to help you understand our Hospitality@WORK processes. This role is based in our New York office and is designed to prepare you for a future career in the hospitality industry.
What you'll do#
- Greet and welcome employees as they arrive at the office.
- Build relationships with staff to understand and anticipate their daily needs.
- Manage reservation tools to ensure proper workspace allocation.
- Coordinate on-site meetings, including catering and audio-visual setups.
- Monitor the building and submit maintenance tickets for facility issues.
- Troubleshoot conference room equipment to keep meetings on schedule.
- Provide on-demand services to clients and employees.
- Act as a central point of contact between facilities, IT, food and beverage, and janitorial teams.
- Assist management with ongoing projects and the Hospitality@WORK vision.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Business Administration program.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Comfort working in a busy office environment.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs, as well as bend, squat, push, and pull.
